Do I need previous dental experience?
No. You don’t need previous dental experience to enroll at Avid Dental Academy. We’ll teach you the skills and knowledge you need throughout the program, so all you need to bring is a willingness to learn.
Are clinical externships paid?
No. Clinical externships are part of your education and give you the opportunity to experience what it’s like to work in a real dental practice. It’s a valuable part of the program that helps you prepare for life after graduation.
Can I work my normal job while I’m in school?
Yes. Many of our students continue working while attending Avid Dental Academy. Balancing work and school takes planning, but it’s something many students successfully do while preparing for a new career.
Does graduating automatically make me a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)?
No. Graduating from Avid Dental Academy is an important step toward your career, but it doesn’t automatically make you a Registered Dental Assistant. Depending on where you plan to work, you may need to pass required exams, complete state or national applications, and meet other legal requirements before earning your credentials.
Is financial assistance available?
No. Avid Dental Academy does not offer financial assistance. However, we do offer interest-free installment payment options to give students more flexibility when paying for their education.
